Richard Newland is an attorney and CPA with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry.  He provides legal counsel to businesses and individuals in the areas of strategic planning, construction contract drafting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning.  He regularly gives clients direction regarding claim preparation and documentation and assists in developing pre-litigation and litigation strategy when a client is represented by its insurer.  He has successfully represented clients in front of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. 

Mr. Newland also practices as a Certified Public Accountant with FCA, CPA’s, where he services clients in the construction industry by providing tax planning, audits, reviews, and compilations, along with business and financial planning.  He is a licensed investment advisor, and is licensed as a resident agent with the Arkansas Insurance Department in the areas of life insurance, variable annuity products, and health insurance. 

Mr. Newland has a proven track record of reorganizing construction businesses, managing complex business challenges, creating organizational value, and building revenues.  He recognizes issues vital to organizational success and works closely alongside clients to assess and formulate long term strategies and execute action plans to reach their near and long term business goals.
